This is Audrey a 5-year-old female Jack Russell Mix from London, Ontario, Canada. She was named for Audrey Hepburn and her diamond and pearl wearing persona in "Breakfast at Tiffany's." Audrey is originally from "someplace in the USA" and came to Canada through the London Humane Society. Prior to her arrival in Canada 2 August 2009, I know nothing about her. The vet guesses that her age is somewhere between 5 and 8 year of age. It looks as though she is either a Jack Russell or Fox Terrier Mix. In any event, she is the best dog ever. When Audrey first came to live in London, she was rather skittish around people and preferred to spend her time under the couch. Now, she lets out a high pitched squeal unless you hold her at eye level so that she can properly engage her two legged friends. Her favorite trick is clawing at your head in the night. This is her gentle way of getting you to hold up the sheets so that she can scoot down to a place of warmth and comfort. The little dog who was afraid of her own shadow has come a long way. And…she loves to sleep on her back so that you can rub her belly. Photo sent by Michael.
