This is Katie, the 8 year old female Golden Retriever dog from Schertz, TX. I rescued Katie 4 years ago from my local animal shelter.  She sleeps upside down ALL the time.  It doesn't seem comfortable but it is her favorite position. She is upside down as I type this email!  :) Photo sent by Dawn.

This is Pippa, the 9 month old female Golden Retriever and Poodle mix dog from Brisbane, Queensland. We call her the floppy dog, she just loves to flop to the ground at your feet, we think she has a foot fetish because she always licks them, thats how she greets new people haha!)  She's just such a beautiful girl. Photo sent by Jemila.

This is Sammi, the 5 year old female Golden Retriever ,Yellow Labrador and Springer Spaniel mixed breed  from Black Earth, Wisconsin. Sammi steals all food within her reach.  She has once eaten a bag of chocolate chips and when we rushed her to the hospital, the vet prescribed activated charcoal to treat the poisoning.  He warned us how hard it will be to get her to eat it but necessary to absorb the toxic chocolate.  We mixed the horrible black liquid with her food and she pounced on the bowl and licked it clean within seconds. This is Beau, the 16 month old male Golden Retriever. Beau loves to swim and enjoys being outdoors, however this is always followed by snuggles with his fanti (elephant toy) or with his mumma. On this occasion i was alseep and found him to be snuggled at the end of the couch with a smile .. hes one happy puppy and this makes me smile everytime i look at it. Photo sent by Gemma.

This is Zali, the 6 month old female Golden Retriever from Sydney, Australia. Our story sees us at our first visit to an off-leash dog park along a rather stinky canal. Zali was not off-leash for five minutes before she took a flying leap straight into the canal.  As we watched a face up, dead rat floating by my husband was able to fish her out.  On dry land again she was guided to the centre of the park and let go only to dash straight back and take another leap back in.  The next thing I know I'm hanging over the edge holding onto her collar whilst my husband holds onto me to make sure I don't tumble in after her.  It all ends with her out of the canal, a stinking mess and everyone cross with one another that noone managed to get a lead on her between leaps.  Are we going back?  Not likely!
